Based in South Central Los Angeles. Los Angeles, the land of all skin colors and all classes. We’re looking for Los Angeles. Waste…decay…rebirth and all. We are dedicated to publishing the best poetry, fiction, and nonfiction of the Los Angeles literary underground, and prioritize works by people of color.

DRYLAND started off in 2015. We publish book reviews, interviews, and film reviews year round online. We went into print February 2017 (Issue 6); the next print issue (7) is due out in June. Read the current issue Winter 2017/Issue 6  and past issues (issues 1-5 including the ongoing issue Poets in Unity: Responses to the Election of Donald Trump) to get to know us.
